Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 ounces feta cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes.
Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden.
In a small saucepan, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, butter, and red pepper flakes. Warm over low heat until smooth.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake the chicken for 12 to 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Spoon some hot honey sauce over the chicken and top with crumbled feta during the last few minutes of baking.
Spread Greek yogurt onto serving plates and place the chicken on top.
Drizzle with extra hot honey sauce and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges before serving.

                  Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Chicken thighs can be substituted for chicken breasts if preferred. Adjust the red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
